Having played at Real Madrid between 2006 and 2007, former Brazil fullback Cicinho has criticised the senior players at the club, claiming they manipulated the dressing room.
At the peak of the Galacticos era, elitism was seen as a real problem for Los Blancos, and in an interview with ESPN Brasil, Cicinho stoked the fire somewhat.
"Guti, (Ivan) Helguera, (Iker) Casillas, (Michel) Salgado and Raul were the kingpins," he said.
"They controlled the dressing room, the coach and the press.
"If Ronaldo had a bad game, the covers of the papers would say Raul was better."
Despite being frustrated, Cicinho admitted taking big measures to avoid some of his teammates, namely Salgado.
"When he came into the dressing room, he greeted everyone, but when it came to greeting me, I would tie my boots," he added.
