Transfer MarketZidane struggled to fit Frenchman into starting XI Pogba will not join Real Madrid
As other clubs battle for Paul Pogba's signature, Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane remain happy with their squad, ruling out the possibility of signing the Juventus midfielder for purely sporting reasons.

Los Blancos initially showed an interest in Pogba and Real's director general Jose Angel Sanchez had several meetings with Mino Raiola, who represents the player, but the 23-year-old's displays at Euro 2016 had a few weeks ago buried any chances of him lining out in white next season.

Manchester United remain the front-runners for Pogba's signature as Sky Sports reported yesterday that they will submit an offer of around €104 million.

The French coach is not interested in upsetting the starting XI he currently has and the possibility of signing a Galactico reduces everyday because he feels as though he has a good squad with everything in place, everyone with a role and everyone understanding their role within the squad.

Raiola's relationship with Real Madrid has improved in recent months and the Italian has not closed the door on potential signings in the future with his selection of players wide and deep.
