Remaining coy on the possibility of signing Paul Pogba, Jose Mourinho revealed that Manchester United have so far made 75 per cent of the transfers he requested, with just one more left to complete the lot.
The Special One is currently in Shanghai, where United are preparing to face Borussia Dortmund in the International Champions Cup, a pre-season tournament featuring numerous big name teams.
"The club has done 75 per cent of the work with the three signings of [Eric] Bailly, [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan, and [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, that I asked for when I arrived," he told the assembled press.
"We have until August 31 to cover the remaining 25 per cent."
French newspaper L'Equipe say that Juventus have reached an agreement with Man United for the sale of Pogba at around €120 million, which would make him the world's most expensive player, but Mourinho would not say if this was the case.
"I cannot confirm nor deny it as I don't think it's right to speak of players from other teams, Pogba is at Juventus, not Manchester United," noted the Red Devils' coach.
Man United will be without Ibrahimovic for the game against Dortmund on Friday, as Mourinho looks to rest the striker, who played for Sweden at Euro 2016.
